MAPLE TA is an easy-to-use web-based system for creating tests and assignments, automatically assessing student responses and performance. It supports complex, free-form entry of mathematical equations and intelligent evaluation of responses, making it ideal for mathematics, science or any course that require mathematics.

During this workshop you will see how easy it is to produce exercises, which can be a little bit different for all students. When a student makes the test for a second time the test can be also varied easily, so he/she still has to think about the right answers. Also the intuitive User Interface will be shown which gives you a lot of control and overview. For example you can see different kind of general statistics or specific ones about one topic or one student. And you can control if the student gets his grade and correct answers right away, the total time of the test and in which period it is allowed to do the test.
Maple TA is also stimulating for students. For example they can see directly their score, instead of having to wait for a few days or longer. And they can instantly do the test for a second or third time.
The test can be made anywhere a student has a browser and access to the internet. And no special software has to be installed.
